- We believe the Bible is our primary tool in leading people to understand who God is and to bring about personal life transformation.
- We will endeavor to faithfully preach and teach its eternal, life-transformation truths through worship services and Bible study groups.
2. Prayer
- We believe prayer to be the foundation of every endeavor at Simeon and must be practiced to bear fruit in every good work.
- We will endeavor to prepare our hearts to purposefully pray for the needs of members and others.
3. Christian education
- We will strive for our LIFE School ministry to be an experience in life transformation for the Simeon member.
- We will encourage each Simeon member to be a participant in a discipleship training group for the purpose of deeper and more need-specific life transformation.
4. Life-change
- We will strive for each Simeon member to develop the necessary spiritual discipline of prayer and Bible study to achieve personal daily intimacy with Christ.
- We will endeavor to be doers of God’s Word—peace-loving, courteous, considerate, gentle, willing to yield to reason, full of compassion, and good fruits.
5. Great Commission
- We will be intentionally evangelistic, sharing the love of God as it is presented through the gospel of Christ.
- We will strive to equip the Simeon member to become a Great Commission New Testament Christian that is confident in sharing his or her faith in Christ.
