Core Discipleship Classes
The core courses include foundational training that encourages regular Bible reading and prayer, and instruction on how to develop the skills to do these disciplines. They also include basic beliefs of Christianity and how to begin to live out the Christian life as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Classes
Disciple’s Cross – Helps members experience life in Christ through the practice of six biblical disciplines: spending time with the Master, living in the Word, praying in faith, fellowshipping with believers, witnessing to the world, and ministering to others.
We Believe – Helps members develop a biblical worldview related to knowing God, understanding our purpose in life, the church’s role today, and how to respond to conflicting viewpoints by adopting a Scripture-based worldview.
Core discipleship concludes with a spiritual gifts inventory. Each student is counseled on finding ways to express his or her spiritual gifts in ministry and/or leadership.
